Jamie Redknapp sent a classy message to Alisson after his emotional response to scoring Liverpool's winning goal against West Brom.
The Brazilian goalkeeper grabbed the Reds' winner in unbelievable fashion at the Hawthorns, heading home a corner with the last kick of the game to spark wild celebrations.
That goal handed Liverpool a massive boost in their quest to secure Champions League football, moving them to within one point of Chelsea after a 2-1 triumph.
Alisson was visibly moved after an emotional year for the goalkeeper, where he suffered the loss of his father as well as on-the-field struggles, and Redknapp captured the mood brilliantly.
"I would have sent him up, you've got to gamble, it's what great managers do!" Redknapp told Sky Sports.
"Sir Alex Ferguson was the greatest at it, sending players forward, you have to win these games.
"Now it's in their hands, but football never seizes to surprise you. What a moment.
"You see the emotion of him, imagine that dressing room now. What a header as well, by the way, a bullet! He looked like [Alan] Shearer, what a hero.
"He's had a tough season, a tough year so he should enjoy this moment."
Graeme Souness added: "Liverpool have had lady luck with them today for the first goal and the referee got it wrong.
"Then for your goalkeeper to come up and in the game for you, unbelievable. They huffed and puffed, yeah they had all the ball but they weren't that threatening.
"Jurgen (Klopp) must have been worrying, they got away with it."
Alisson missed several Liverpool matches in February after the unexpected and tragc death of his dad in Brazil.
The 57-year-old had been reported as missing around 5pm on Wednesday, February 24, after diving into the dam on his property near the town of Rincao do Inferno.
