Jamie Redknapp might need to make some more updates to his bachelor pad-turned family home as he prepares to become a dad for the third time.
The 47-year-old former footballer is set to become a father again following the happy news that his 37-year-old Swedish model girlfriend, Frida Andersson, is expecting.
Jamie has two sons – 16-year-old Charley and 12-year-old Beau – from his former marriage to popstar Louise Redknapp,46, which ended in 2018 after 11 years.
Following his split from Louise, Jamie moved into a bachelor pad in Surrey, but this was quickly adapted to make it family-friendly for his sons and pets.
After girlfriend Frida moved in, the place will now need to be baby proofed as the pair revealed yesterday they are “absolutely delighted” to be starting a family of their own together.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie previously showed off his home in an episode of Houseguest with Patrice Evra.
While the star has often shared snaps of his property on social media.
The sleek home is equipped with a pong ping table, cinema room and plenty of comfortable furniture.
A monochrome colour scheme runs throughout the home with white walls, black marble floors, and black, white and gray furniture.
Jamie watched his father, football legend Harry Redknapp, be crowned winner of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! from the comfort of his home in 2018.
While a large, spacious garden has room for goal posts and a basketball hoop which Jamie and his boys have been seen playing in via social media.
While the property also became a love nest for Jamie and Frida last year as they fell for each other during lockdown.
News of couple’s new baby was shared on Monday – with Frida reported to be three-months pregnant and with the baby due in November.
A source close to the couple told The Sun: “Jamie and Frida are absolutely delighted.
“They’ve been virtually inseparable in lockdown, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.
“The couple started telling their nearest and dearest last week.
“Jamie’s been telling pals he’s really excited to be a dad again — less excited about the sleepless nights, and nappy-changing. But both he and Frida will be brilliant, hands-on parents.”
Frida confirmed the news herself on Instagram as she interacted with followers who congratulated her on her news.
The Scandinavian beauty responded with praying hands emojis to followers who commented: "Lovely news on your new baby. Congratulations to you both", and : "Congratulations on your new baby."
