Jamie Oliver is to be given a 'tribute' show to celebrate 20 years since he became a TV chef - and it will touch on the collapse of his restaurant chain and his private life.
The Channel 4 special, titled 20 Years of The Naked Chef: Jamie Bares All, will highlight 'memorable Jamie moments' from the past two decades - including 'highs and lows'.
This includes the 'recent closure of his much-loved restaurant group' which was plunged into administration in March leaving Jamie's Italian in Manchester shut and around 70 to 80 people in the city alone , up to 1,000 nationally, with their jobs at risk.
The 60-minute 'intimate' documentary, presented by Davina McCall, will also feature more personal touches including interviews with celebrity friends as well as his family and friends as he invites the cameras into his London home, which he shares with wife Jools and his five children, for the very first time.
Jamie, 44, said: "Wow, 20 years. So much has happened in that time. Davina is a brave woman to come and get a taste of life with five kids in the Oliver household!
"But it's been a pleasure to welcome her in and show her what my world is really like, at home and work.
"I hope everyone enjoys looking back with me at the past two decades, remembering the amazing times and some tough times… not to mention a few dodgy haircuts along the way."
Channel 4's factual entertainment commissioning editor, Tim Hancock, added: "At this crucial point in his life, Jamie has allowed unprecedented access to his life, and has opened up to Davina with a real honesty.
"It's going to make for a fascinating documentary about one of Britain's most recognisable personalities."
