Jamie O'Hara in second Rangers troll as loaded Celtic title jibe leaves Ally McCoist fizzing

Controversial Jamie O'Hara has irked the Rangers support for a second time in 24 hours by claiming Celtic are on "another planet" to their great rivals.

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder had the Ibrox faithful up in arms when he suggested managing Bournemouth would be a bigger job for Steven Gerrard.

Ally McCoist was primed and ready to have take his colleague to task before the man of the moment added to the drama by hopping on the Laura Woods breakfast show.

The Rangers legend said: "If ever there was a case for a talkSPORT broadcaster to be breathalysed for an opinion!”

“I’m all for people having an opinion... unless it’s O’Hara on Rangers.”

But unrepentant O'Hara insists he has had no second thoughts over his Rangers pop and even fanned the flames further as he launched another dig aimed at the Premiership side.

He told talkSPORT: "I'm sticking by it, I'm sticking by it.

"The reason, they are not a bigger club, let's get that out the equation, Rangers are a massive football club.

"As a job, for me, that (Bournemouth) is a better job to take because as a player, or a a manager, to get Bournemouth in the Premier League, where they have been for years, is a bigger job than finishing second in Scotland."

But that barb aimed at the Ibrox side had McCoist on alert as he asked his colleague "who says we are finishing second?"

That led the Billericay Town boss to hit back, adding: "You finish second every year! Celtic are going to win 10 on a bounce."

And an increasingly frustrated McCoist hit back: "That's the problem, we are trying to build back.

"That's why Steven has taken the job, by the way Graeme Souness took the job as player-manager back in 1986.

"That's why great players, hopefully, go on to become great managers and take jobs like that. It's a massive job."

But O'Hara couldn't resist a parting shot before he made his departure.

He said: "Rangers were big when you played for them but Celtic are on another planet now."

McCoist responded. "Now you are really winding me up. It's time for him to go. Pull that plug."
