Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has teased fans over having the phone number of Jamie Laing's sister.
The 30-year-old professional dancer worked alongside 32-year-old Made In Chelsea star Jamie on the recent 2020 series of Strictly – where he was paired with Good Morning Britain star Ranvir Singh, 43.
During the course of the series, Jamie’s sister Emily was seen during a video of support asking Jamie to pass her number to Giovanni.
And fans are desperate to know if the biscuit company heir did indeed share his sibling’s number with the Italian dance sensation.
Jamie was participating in a Q&A session with girlfriend Sophie Habboo over Intagram Stories when a fan asked to know what had happened behind the scenes of Strictly.
The fan asked “Did you give Giovanni your sis’s number” alongside a crying-with-laughter emoji.
However Jamie skilfully dodged the question – by simply laughing in response and rolling away from the camera, while Sophie replied: “We will never know.”
Meanwhile Giovanni teased the reality star by responding to the video on his own Instagram Stories.
He shared the video to his feed alongside the reply “Who knows??” and a crying-with-laughter memoji – thereby refusing to deny he had been in touch with Jamie’s sister.
Throughout the 2020 series of Strictly, rumours ran rampant that Giovanni and Ranvir had grown close.
The GMB host confirmed she had ended her marriage to Ranjeet Singh Dehal just weeks before the BBC series began.
While performances between Giovannia and Ranvir over the course of the show raised eyebrows thanks to their intimate nature.
And after they were eliminated from the contest in the semi-finals, Ranvir confessed she felt she had a “connection” to the dance hunk.
While her decision to describe her Strictly partner as a "beautiful, passionate dancer" fanned the flames of speculation that there was more to their relationship that simply mentor and student.
