Jamie Laing has emotional Made in Chelsea reunions on Strictly Come Dancing

Jamie Laing was reunited with some of his favourite Made in Chelsea co-stars on Strictly Come Dancing tonight.

In Saturday night's episode, Jamie and professional dance partner Karen Hauer got given the couple's choice of what to dance this week and chose to do street dance following their success in last week's show.

In the training video prior to tonight's performance, Jamie called Karen a new "friend for life".

However, she was not the only friend for life that spoke to him tonight as Jamie had a video call with best friend and old Made in Chelsea co-star Spencer Matthews and his wife Vogue Williams.

"Spencer is one of my best mates in the world," said Jamie.

"We can hate each other, we can love each other, but at the core of it is a very real friendship and I'm honoured to be his daughter's godfather."

Spencer and Vogue are parents to two-year-old son Theodore and daughter Gigi who was born this summer.

Also in the training clip, Jamie received a supportive video call from his younger sister Emily who he described as his "rock".

In her message, an emotional Emily held back tears as she said: "I don't think a lot of people know this about you, you are the most giving, the kindest, and ultimately the most fearless person I know."

Finally, Jamie got a video message from his beloved girlfriend and fellow Made in Chelsea star Sophie "Habbs" Habboo.

Jamie said of his girlfriend: "I have a wonderful girlfriend in Sophie, she is my best mate."

Ultimately, Jamie's work with Karen paid off as their astounding street dance routine earned them rave reviews from the judges.

Jamie was grateful for all the support he has had from his loved ones and from Karen (BBC)

They were both awarded 9 points from Craig Revel-Horwood, 10 from Shirley Ballas, and 10 from stand-in judge Anton du Beke.

Their near-perfect score of 29 catapulted the pair to the top of the leaderboard.

However, will it be enough to keep the couple in the competition as the results are read out on Sunday night?
