Jamie Genevieve tearful as she says goodbye to old make up room in house move

Scots beauty Instagrammer Jamie Genevieve shed a tear as she walked through her famous make up room for the last time.

The YouTuber who went from £10 a day to making thousands a day online used to work in Debenhams make up counter and rose to fame with her quirky make up tutorials.

After growing up in Tillicoultry, she moved to Glasgow with her husband, Jack, and their two Alsatians, Drogba and Juno around 2017.

Jamie who has 1.4million followers, once turned down an invitation to Kim Kardashian's house and has a fan base that counts Drew Barrymore, Rihannah and Lizzo.

She has been planning her move for some months now but packing up her make up room was the big step towards heading to her new home.

Jamie who wanted to move house in June last year told her followers recently: "We put an offer into a house that has been accepted and we have sold our house.

"We were lucky we had a garden through lockdown. There were loads we stopped doing here. I stopped buying things for this house. At one point we were going to get a new kitchen."

"It's a fresh new start and the house we have got we fell in love with. Our house sold after one week of viewings."

She also told viewers on YouTube two days ago: "The hardest thing about moving house is changing all the suppliers and services."

As she walked through the empty cosmetic room which she showed off on her BBC series and regularly posts online, she admitted she was 'having all the feels'

Speaking about the room which she had custom built in 2018 she said: "I shed a tear too. Let not be sad.

"Beauty room 2.0 will be an even more special place for us. Its so nice to be leaving this house with such happy memories but I cannot wait to move into our new home and for you to see it."
