Jamie Foxx is seriously bulking up to star in Mike Tyson biopic

You’ve heard actor and master impressionist Jamie Foxx do a pretty great Mike Tyson over the years.

But now, he’s transforming his body so he can actually play the former undisputed heavyweight champion in an upcoming biopic.

While appearing on Catching Up with Mark Birnbaum on Instagram this week, he said he’s working on a movie where he’ll play Tyson and that he’s bulking up by doing 60 pull-ups, 60 dips and 100 push-ups as part of his workouts to get his body to look like Tyson’s did.

Then, he actually showed the results on Instagram, and WOW, he’s doing well:

The transformation begins… “FINDING MIKE”. It is no secret that I have been pursuing the @miketyson biopic for some time… people always ask me when is it going to happen?… things have finally lined up… A few months ago we started the journey… The first but biggest task is to transform the body… with a regiment of pull-ups dips and push-ups we are off to a pretty good start… we have a ways to go but God willing… yesterday on my good friends @markbirnbaum show.
