It was clearly past Jamie Dornan's bedtime when he appeared on the Late Late Show this week - whispering a "dirty and rotten" comment in Andrew Garfield's ear.
The pair starred on James Cordon's US talk show on Thursday, November 11, telling tales of spending time together as up-and-coming actors in LA.
The actors formed a group, which also included Eddie Redmayne, Robert Pattinson and Tom Sturridge.
Jamie said: "We lived closed together. There was a load of guys from that side of the world out in LA [...] just trying to do anything to get work."
James Cordon tested Jamie and Andrew's knowledge of each other in a ‘shock’ friendship quiz, in which the actor being questioned received an electric shock if they got the answer about their fellow acting pal wrong.
The quiz certainly served to test their friendship. While Andrew knew Jamie had three kids, he could not name any of them.
"We aren't that close mates," Garfield joked, "We're close mates for the camera."
While Jamie claimed he knew "everything", he was unable to correctly state what Andrew once did at singer Prince's house (threw up).
Andrew did, however, know Jamie dropped out of university to become a semi-professional rugby player.
Jamie thought he'd smashed it when he said Andrew was born in Surrey, but he was actually born in America.
It was after this wrong answer that Jamie whispered a comment in Andrew's ear which left him in hysterics.
"Stop it," Andrew responded.
When James Cordon asked what Jamie had said, Andrew replied: "It's nothing I'm willing to repeat."
Later, Andrew described Jamie's comment as "something rotten".
"He said something really dirty and rotten, I'm not going to repeat it," Andrew added.
Fans have already been speculating what they think Jamie said, with some rather "dirty and rotten" suggestions indeed...
