Jamie Carragher sums up big question on VAR after Liverpool beat Wolves

Jamie Carragher and Gary Lineker have provided their thoughts on the latest controversy surrounding VAR after Liverpool 's win over Wolves.

The Reds made it 18 wins from 19 in the Premier League this season thanks to Sadio Mane's goal which secured a 1-0 victory at Anfield.

However, the three points didn't come without plenty of debate on VAR after two big moments during the contest.

Mane's goal was first looked at for a potential handball by Adam Lallana but also for if the referee had blown his whistle before the ball hit the back of the net.

Another major VAR moment came after Wolves had had a goal disallowed by VAR for a marginal offside in the build-up to Pedro Neto's effort.

Lineker responded to that disallowed goal by taking to Twitter:

Carragher also offered his view on the situation at Anfield by summing up most football fans' frustrations with VAR.

Carragher also tweeted: "VAR at its best for @LFC goal, at its worst for @Wolves goal???

"But what is the answer on really tight offsides with VAR??"
