Jamie Carragher has jokingly started a petition demanding Liverpool play all of their remaining home matches this season in Budapest after the Reds returned to winning ways against RB Leipzig.
Jurgen Klopp 's side have lost their last six games at Anfield and are yet to score from open play at home in 2021.
But with coronavirus pandemic travel restrictions forcing them to host Leipzig in Budapest, goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane saw Liverpool run out 2-0 winners to progress to the Champions League quarter-finals.
And having seen his former club put in a much-improved performance as they clinched victory, Carragher has started a tongue-in-cheek petition asking for the venue switch to become permanent for the remainder of the season following the Reds' recent Anfield struggles.
Sharing a screenshot of the petition on his Instagram story under the section 'What do you want us to do?', Carragher wrote: "Let Liverpool play all their remaining home games of this season in Budapest."

The Reds are next in action on Monday as they travel to Wolves, with their next match at Anfield currently scheduled to be against Aston Villa on April 10.
