Gary Neville landed himself in the middle of a social media storm after sacking Salford City boss Richie Wellens on Monday, and his frenemy Jamie Carragher took the chance to stick the boot in.
Salford are sat in ninth place in League 2 at the moment, just eight points off the play-off places.
But after a poor run of results, Neville and the rest of the Salford board took the decision to part company with first-team head coach Wellens on Monday.
The 40-year-old was only given the job at the start of the season, and lasted just four months before being given his marching orders.
The decision was a surprise to many, considering Neville's previous comments about managerial sackings.

The former Manchester United defender famously tweeted: "The scary thing is that a large % now actually support these sackings as they've become accustomed to it... How can you build a football team without getting 2-3 years. A rule change is required to moderate sackings of managers mid season in their first year at a club."
The fact Neville seemed to go against his own words wasn't lost on many social media commentators.
Soon after news broke, Neville's mentions were filled with those poking fun at the 'Class of 92' member.

One of them was his Sky Sports colleague Carragher, who wasted little time before sticking the boot in.
The former Liverpool defender posted an image of Neville's tweet with a series of laughing emojis as the caption.
Carragher then doubled down on his original jibe, and compared him to notorious former Atletico Madrid owner Jesus Gil.
Gil was infamous during his time running the Spanish giants and endured a torrid relationship with the fanbase due to his ruthless attitude towards the club.
And Carragher followed up to his first tweet by quote tweeting the Salford announcement saying: "Jesus Gil has got nothing on @GNev2" [Neville's username].
Neville is yet to respond to the news, and didn't add comment to the club's press release.
