Jamie Carragher's Premier League title prediction following Man City's win over Leicester

Manchester City held their nerve against Leicester City on Monday night and delivered with a 1-0 victory which has left Jamie Carragher believing the Premier League title race is now over

The Blues trailed Liverpool by two points ahead of the fixture at the Etihad Stadium but Vincent Kompany provided a wonderful long-range shot which nestled into the net.

Man City now lead the Premier League by one point ahead of the final day of campaign on Sunday, with the Blues facing Brighton on the road and Liverpool hosting Wolves.

But despite Liverpool knowing a win and a City draw or loss would land them the title for the first time in 29 years, Carragher believes the title race is done.

In a back and forth with Gary Neville, the Manchester United legend began: "There were 20 minutes left on the clock and I was going to say Vincent Kompany you dancer, but I thought it was a little bit too early for me to go with that line. It's still a bit too early..."

Then Carragher chimed in: "No that's it. That's it."

Neville added: "Is it possible that both teams are going to win this many games? It's ridiculous."
