Jamie Carragher's message to Gary Neville from Anfield after Liverpool beat Barcelona

It is fair to say Jamie Carragher enjoyed his night at Anfield on Tuesday.

Liverpool produced a stunning, impossible, comeback to dump Barcelona out the Champions League to reach the final in Madrid.

The Reds had lost the first leg at the Nou Camp 3-0 before Gini Wijnaldum and Divock Origi both scored braces to set up a famous Anfield night.

The Merseyside stadium was rocking at the final whistle as club anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone' was blasted out from all four sides of the ground.

And Carragher, who spent 18 years at the Reds, led the singing on social media, while still managing to get a couple of digs in on his Sky Sports partner Gary Neville.

Big debate: What is the greatest Champions League comeback of all time?

"Have a bit of that Neville!" Carragher screeched in an Instagram Live video.

"Best night ever at Anfield. You should have been here Nev. Unbelievable.

"Have a bit of that G Nev," he added as Liverpool's heroes lined up in front of the Kop to continue the sing-a-long.

Carragher wasn't finished there as he took to his Instagram page again to post an image of an article which had the headline: "Liverpool should forget about Champions League, says Gary Neville."

The Reds legend submitted the image with the eyes emoji and three laughing emojis.

Taking a break from winding up his fellow pundit he declared on Twitter that it was the “Greatest night ever at Anfield!”
