Jamie Carragher reveals why he still doesn't think Arsenal will finish in top four

Arsenal moved up to third in the Premier League table with a 2-0 win over Newcastle on Monday.

Unai Emery's side are now two points clear of Tottenham and Manchester United and three ahead of Chelsea in the race for the top four.

The Gunners are the only top six club who do not have any remaining fixtures against their European rivals.

But Jamie Carragher is still not convinced they will secure a return to Champions League football next season.

The former Liverpool and England defender reckons their shaky away form will cost them dearly with five games on the road remaining.

The Gunners have conceded 27 goals on their travels and picked up only 19 points compared to 44 at the Emirates.

Speaking on Monday Night Football, Carragher said: "If I was saying now and had to call it now I'd probably still go for Spurs and Man Utd.

"I still think that away form.

"When you say they're not playing big six rivals, they're the type of away games that have players and teams at the real top.

"You look at Everton away, Watford , Wolves , Burnley late on, Leicester as well.

"Yes, you're not playing United, City, Liverpool, but those ones, even a draw there now is not a good result it's that tight.

"It's almost two a game away from home that they're conceding, never mind a clean sheet.

"27 goals, that's an awful lot.
