Liverpool are expected to sign a striker in the upcoming summer transfer window, and Reds hero Jamie Carragher has urged the club to sign Erling Haaland instead of Kylian Mbappe.
The Premier League champions aren't expected to go for a big-money transfer target in the summer, but have been linked with both Haaland and Mbappe.
The two are widely regarded as the two best young players in world football, and two of the most valuable stars in the world.
It would take an astronomical fee to sign either, though each could be on the move this summer.
Haaland has a release clause of £68million active from 2022, and it has been suggested he could leave Borussia Dortmund for a higher fee this year.

And Mbappe will become a free agent in 2022, and is said to have told Paris Saint-Germain that he wants a new challenge this summer.
He's been linked with Liverpool in the past, and it has been suggested that he would be ready to move to Anfield.
However, Carragher believes the Reds should go for Haaland instead of Mbappe.

“I mean I’ve watched the clips today and I’ve always gone with Mbappe before, but there’s something about Haaland," he told Sky Sports.
“He looks mad, but in a good way. You know when you just think, he doesn’t care about anything.
“His celebration in the Champions League with the goalkeeper, I loved it.
“I’d go for Haaland.”
Norwegian wonderkid Haaland has an incredible 31 goals in 30 games this season, including ten in six in the Champions League.
Liverpool won't be alone in trying to sign him, as Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea are also interested.
