Jamie Carragher names the Man Utd player that has been a 'revelation'

Jamie Carragher claims Marcus Rashford has been a 'revelation' under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian took over from Jose Mourinho in December has been now been appointed on a permanent basis after a successful spell in caretaker charge.

Rashford has contributed nine goals since Solskjaer's arrival, and Carragher believes the England international has had a big say in their upturn in fortunes.

He told Sky Sports: "It was inevitable that Solskjaer would get the job. It was just the timing of the announcement.

"You look at the first goal [of Manchester United ’s 2-1 win over Watford on Saturday]… the blistering pace, the counter-attack.

"Rashford has just been a revelation since Solskjaer has come in. He’s been the one for me.

"People talk about Paul Pogba a lot but for me Rashford has been the real difference. He looks like a Manchester United forward now. He’s a constant threat.

"Solsjkaer has not just got results but has had an impact on individual players. He’s the man for the next two or three years and the question is can they get back to challenging for major titles?"
