Jamie Carragher makes fun of Gary Neville after spotting article on his new hotel

Gary Neville was probably hoping Jamie Carragher wouldn't see the feature for his new hotel.

The former United player opens The Stock Exchange in Manchester next month with promotion in full swing.

Unfortunately for Neville, Carragher got his hands on a copy of an article that pictures Neville inside the building with the heading "His stock is rising".

A caption also reads: "Gary Neville had great success in his football career and now he's part of the team that looks to have scored a winner with Manchester's newest hotel."

In a takedown that Reds fans are loving on social media, Carragher tweeted a photo of the 'stock is rising' piece with the words: "Not in La Liga!".

Carra also tagged in Neville on Twitter, adding "WTF" and a green-faced, nauseous emoji.

The former Liverpool defender was of course referring to Neville's brief stint as manager of Valencia which was less than succesful.

This latest mockery comes after Carragher posted a video of the pair reacting to Adam Lallana's equaliser at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Carragher - who was commentating on the 1-1 draw for Sky Sports alongside Neville and broadcaster Martin Tyler - looked straight down the camera before making pulling a funny face and doing a little dance after Lallana's strike.

Neville, however, looked crestfallen and instead opted to swig from a bottle of water.
