Jamie Carragher has admitted his 'dream scenario' would consist of Liverpool fans chanting the name of Rafael Benitez if leading in the derby at Goodison Park this season.
Benitez enjoyed a strong start to his Everton tenure at the weekend, earning a 3-1 home win over Southampton.
The Spaniard received a warm welcome at the home of the Blues, despite fears that some supporters would begin to boo the 61-year-old.

Benitez is tasked with keeping Everton fans on side while in charge of the team and Carragher believes this would prove 'impossible' if the Blues suffer a heavy derby defeat to Liverpool this campaign.
"I’m looking forward to seeing Benitez at Everton. I just want to sit back with some popcorn and watch this unfold," said the former Reds defender.
"My dream scenario is for Liverpool to go one or two nil up at Goodison and the Liverpool fans to start chanting Rafa Benitez’s name.
"That stadium will never get behind Benitez, no matter what. I can’t see that happening. It’s not even the fact that he was at Liverpool, it’s the fact that he’s loved at Liverpool. Even Liverpool fans still love him, that’s the problem. I think if you lost a derby game badly, it would be impossible for him to carry on.”
The former Liverpool boss will be aiming to build on Carlo Ancelotti's final season at the club, which saw the Blues end the season in tenth place.
But Carragher believes winning a cup competition should be prioritised this campaign above anything else.
"Everton are not going to win the league or get into the top four but may be there or thereabouts for Europa League," he said on The Overlap Live Fan Debate.
"The biggest thing for Everton fans, and I know a lot of Everton fans, is that they've got to win a trophy. It doesn't matter if Everton finish 14th. Forget the league, it's about the cup.
"The big problem teams like Everton and Tottenham, who have gone a long time without a trophy, have got is Man City. Pep Guardiola has that drive to win every trophy. They want to win everything and that's a huge problem as you almost feel like you have to beat City to win that trophy."
