Jamie Carragher and other pundits all say the same thing about Trent Alexander-Arnold after Liverpool victory

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have waxed lyrical about Trent Alexander-Arnold's passing after another superb display against Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool came from a goal behind to beat Spurs 2-1 at Anfield with goals from Jordan Henderson and a Mohamed Salah penalty ensuring all three points.

The win reinstates Jurgen Klopp's men's six-point lead at the top fo the Premier League table following Manchester City's 3-0 win over Aston Villa yesterday.

There was another inspired performance from Liverpool's young English star as Alexander-Arnold was lauded for his exquisite range of passing by both Sky Sports pundits.

After a dazzling ball to Salah in the second half, the pair waxed lyrical about the Liverpool right-back, with Carragher comparing the defender to one of Manchester City's stars.

"It's like having Kevin de Bruyne at right-back," he exclaimed after yet another delicious pin-point ball from Alexander-Arnold.

Neville concurred, praising the 20-year-old, "Alexander-Arnold passes like a number ten. He's really good, wonderful pass into Mo Salah," was his verdict.

Similarly, former England captain Gary Lineker singled the right-back out for praise on Twitter.

The ex-Leicester striker is a long-time admirer of Alexander-Arnold and praised him to the hills once again.

"I know I’ve said this a lot, and apologies if it’s wearisome, but crikey

@trentaa98  is a magnificent footballer," he said.

His performance was just one of many as the Reds secured another vital win.

After last weekend's frustrating 1-1 with Manchester United, Klopp will have been relieved to see his side turn in a performance, and a result, more befitting of their start to the Premier League season.
