- Jamie Bell and Charlie Heaton have been announced as key cast members for a new Peaky Blinders spin-off series.
- Bell will portray Duke "Erasmus" Shelby, the new leader of the violent crime gang, with the story set in 1950s Birmingham.
- The narrative picks up a decade after the events of the newly-released film, The Immortal Man, exploring an "older, wiser, more ambitious and more dangerous" Duke.
- Jessica Brown Findlay, Lashana Lynch, and debutant Lucy Karczewski are also among the additions to the cast.
- Created by Steven Knight, the show has been commissioned for two series, each with six 60-minute episodes, and will be available on BBC iPlayer, BBC One, and Netflix.
