Poppy Oliver, the eldest daughter of chef Jamie Oliver, has announced her engagement to long-term boyfriend Ben Newman.
Her mother, Jools Oliver, shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, posting a photograph of Newman proposing on a beach.
Jools Oliver revealed that the couple met at university, where they were next-door neighbours, and have been together for five years.
The ecstatic mother wrote: “Our first baby Poppy Honey is getting married. We are so excited, proud and happy. Ben we all adore you,” alongside a video of the family celebrating with balloons in their kitchen.
Poppy, 24, graduated from the University of Leeds in 2023 and currently works as an editorial and PR intern at The Jamie Oliver Group.
