James Tavernier's hilarious description of Rangers pal Alfredo Morelos as he admits 'I love the guy'

Rangers star James Tavernier claims he should be paid extra to babysit 'big kid' Alfredo Morelos as he joked about how much he loves him.

The Ibrox skipper shared images on social media of Morelos kicking him and running away as they celebrated beating Livingston on Wednesday night.

Both players were laughing and Tavernier admits that's the kind of thing he has to deal with on a daily basis from El Bufalo.

The Colombian is often viewed as angry because of how he plays the game, but is known as playful and a joker off the pitch with his team-mates.

He was filmed throwing paper at Tavernier during Rangers' Scottish Cup clash with Cove Rangers and Tavernier joked that he's always having to deal with it.

While streaming himself playing Call of Duty, Tavernier answered questioned from fans on his team-mates and two words came to mind for him. Riot and pest.

He said: “Them pictures, that’s what I get every single day. Him just being a pest.

“He’s just a big kid, honestly. Just like a big kid. I’m happy them pictures were taken cause then I can prove to people what he’s like every single day.

“He’s some guy. I can’t hate the fella. We’ve been together a few years. I wish I was paid extra to babysit him. That’s another word, riot. He’s a pest and a riot.

“But I love the guy.

“He can speak English, I know he can speak English. It’s whether he chooses to, and that guy doesn’t choose to.

“It all adds up to what he is. Honestly, he’s a riot.”
