James Tavernier brutally trolls Rangers pal Glen Kamara during social media Q&A

Rangers can't wait for the new season and their players certainly appear relaxed despite high expectations.

A strong finish to the last campaign has the Ibrox faithful believing now is the time to wrestle the title away from Celtic.

And team spirit certainly seems to be high judging by a social media exchange on Sunday.

Glen Kamara was the subject of a social media Q&A session and club captain James Tavernier couldn't resist fielding a playful question for his pal to answer.

Tavernier wrote: "Why do you have a Sainsbury’s bag as a wash bag bro?"

That quip earned a warm response from supporters but the Finland international has yet to provide an answer.

Steven Gerrard's side are currently in Portugal for their side's warm-weather training camp as the Ibrox boss assesses his new-look squad ahead of their Europa League qualifying tilt.

And there will be plenty for the Rangers boss to take in with six new faces looking to impress.

George Edmundson, Sheyi Ojo, Greg Stewart, Jordan Jones, Steven Davis and Jake Hastie have all arrived with Joe Aribo set to follow.
