James Rodriguez makes shocking Everton admission during Twitch stream

James Rodriguez has revealed that he doesn't know who Everton are playing this weekend, with his situation at the club remaining unclear.

The Colombian international is still scheduled to report back to Finch Farm, but has already been told by the Blues that he can leave should the right offer arrive.

Rodriguez only joined the Toffees last season and was a talisman for Carlo Ancelotti, recording 11 combined goals and assists in 23 league games.

However, Everton’s number 19 has not helped gain support from the Blues fanbase after he revealed on his Twitch channel that he didn’t know who the club were up against on Saturday.

“I will start training on Monday, I think”, Rodriguez explained .

“On the weekend I will not play, I don't even know who Everton is playing, can you please tell me?

“I think it is away because the past was here at home. Ah, against Leeds they play, away from home, against Bielsa, a difficult game, let's see what happens, hopefully they win”, he said shortly afterwards.

The attacking midfielder may not be around the training ground while the pre-match preparations are underway, but not knowing who his team are playing will have fans questioning his commitment to the club.

Rodriguez has been linked with moves to AC Milan and Atletico Madrid in recent weeks and expects his future to be resolved before the end of the window.

He added: "I have faith that this season will be good for me, big things are coming for me.

"Between now and August 30, anything can happen, I don't know where I'll play, I'll be where things go well."
