James Rodriguez hands Everton surprise injury boost ahead of West Ham clash

James Rodriguez has arrived at Goodison with the rest of the Everton squad raising hopes he is fit to face West Ham United this evening.

Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti had appeared to rule the Colombian out of the game but hoped he would be fit to face Rotherham in the FA Cup next weekend.

But Rodriguez was seen entering the ground via the players' designated route, which starts at the Park End and leads the squad through to the changing rooms, and he was carrying his designer bag over his shoulders.

Richarlison was passed fit by Ancelotti at his pre-match press conference after concussion had ruled him out of the past two matches.

Rodriguez has been dogged by a calf injury and has missed the last five league and cup matches.

But his sighting at Goodison earlier this afternoon has raised hope that he is now fit to play again.

Everton's team news will be confirmed at 4:30pm.
