The Baltimore Ravens wrapped up another day of practice on Wednesday as they prepare for their third and final preseason game of 2021. While many injured players on the team haven’t returned to the field yet, Baltimore got a bit of good news before their mid-week session, as James Proche II was back after missing Tuesdays’ practice with cramps. However, Ben Cleveland and a few other Ravens left early.

For those counting at home, Ravens still down five wide receivers.

T Ronnie Stanley sat out the #Ravens Wednesday practice after full workouts the previous two days. Other vets not in attendance included CB Marcus Peters, T Alejandro Villanueva. DL Derek Wolfe missed his second straight day, so unlikely a vet day situation

Ravens rookie guard Ben Cleveland walked off the field with a trainer with about 40 minutes left in practice.
Cleveland had just returned to practice after missing time with a concussion.

Aside from injury notes, it was another solid day of practice.
Another hot practice, another day of low-impact practicing.
Chris Westry and DeShon Elliott had picks. Odafe Oweh took advantage of the thin OT situation. Calais Campbell was high-energy throughout.

John Harbaugh was visibly not happy with the start of practice and huddled up his players after 40 minutes of work.
He yelled for a couple of minutes before resuming practice.

The #Ravens didn't go at full speed in the heat this morning but defensive players stood out.
In the opening 11-on-11 period, Calais Campbell broke through the line on run plays for what would have been tackles for loss. Later, Odafe Oweh would have had a sure sack if allowed

As Baltimore gears up for the regular season, they’ll hope to get some of their injured contributors back. However, the team is making it work with the players that they have available, and those that are on the field are all talented. It would be surprising to see many of the guys who have sat out of practice play on Saturday night against the Washington Football team, as it appears that the Ravens are taking the cautious approach with their injuries.
