James Milner underlines his Leeds United allegiances

James Milner has stayed true to his Leeds United roots by selecting Lucas Radebe in his ultimate Premier League XI.

Retired Liverpool and England defender Jamie Carragher has put out a challenge for people to take on during the nationwide lockdown.

You must pick out the best Premier League XI you can, but you are only allowed to pick out one player from each club and nation.

Radebe, of the Whites and South Africa of course, made it into Milner’s back three, which he revealed with Carragher on Sky Sports this morning.

Milner also went with Finland and Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen, Serbia and Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic and Jamaica and Leicester City’s Wes Morgan in defence.

In midfield there was Portugal and Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo, England and Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard, Bulgaria and Aston Villa’s Stiliyan Petrov and Brazil and Middlesbrough’s Juninho.

In attack, Milner chose France and Arsenal’s Thierry Henry, Argentina and Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and Wales and Tottenham Hotspur’s Gareth Bale.
