James Milner announces Leeds book signing and Whites fans devise a plan

Former Leeds United star James Milner has been on the publicity trial recently following the release of his 'Ask A Footballer' book.

The 33-year-old's new, interactive take on the well-trod path of the footballer's autobiography contains plenty of insights into his time coming through the ranks at Elland Road and he has just announced that he will be heading back to Leeds for a book signing next month.

Fans will be able to meet the Liverpool midfielder on Sunday December 1, with Milner tweeting that it's 'always great to get back to Leeds.'

Rather than offer a chronological story of his rise in the game, the book sees Milner answer questions from fans and sees the midfielder answer questions about his rise at Leeds, the players he idolised growing up plus the his thoughts on what it would be like to return to Elland Road as a player on day.

And with Leeds fans now handed the opportunity to meet the man himself, Milner had better get used to answering plenty more queries about the potential of an emotional homecoming once his Anfield days are over.

In fact, there seems to be a common plan from Whites fans, who are plotting to slip Milner something else to sign, other than his book.

Here's what supporters have been saying on Twitter following the signing announcement...
