Kate Middleton 's younger brother James has shared his heartache after one of his new puppies died moments after being born.
He first shared the exciting announcement of new arrival Nala last week, before revealing that his dog Luna had given birth to puppies in a sweet Instagram post on Sunday.
However their exciting news was short lived as one puppy didn't survive.
The original litter included seven puppies, but James shared the devastating news about the one pup that didn't make it through.
The entrepreneur, 33, revealed there are now "six healthy little pups" after Luna was rushed to the vets for an emergency C-section.
Alongside a snap of the newbies, he wrote: "Six little friends for Nala to play with.
"A week ago Luna had three little pups at 5am, but we had to rush to the vets for an emergency C-section where another four pups were delivered."
He continued: "Sadly one didn't make it but there are six healthy little pups suckling away happy as can be.
"They all have lovely homes waiting for them and I will be donating all the money from the sale of the pups to @petsastherapy_uk."
James and his fiancée Alizee Thevenet are also proud dog owners to spaniels Ella, Inca and Zulu, as well as golden retriever Mabel.
The couple met at London's South Kensington in 2018, and announced their engagement last October.
James and Alizee were recently hit with a bombshell as they've had to postpone their wedding, which was set to take place in May, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
