James McFadden fires Celtic 10 In A Row warning as pundit insists there can be no Rangers slip-up

James McFadden insists Celtic have absolutely no margin for error if they are to claw back their 10 In A Row hopes in the second half of the season.

The Hoops are 16 points behind Rangers with three games in hand ahead of Saturday’s Old Firm clash in their rivals’ back yard.

That game will see Celtic reach the midway point in their Premiership campaign.

And McFadden insists they can barely afford to drop another point if they are to make history.

Neil Lennon’s side have shown signs of turning a corner - winning their last three league games without conceding a goal.

And Saturday’s 3-0 win at Hamilton showed glimpses of the old Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths partnership reigniting.

That, according to McFadden, is crucial.

“I don’t think there’s any margin for error for Celtic,” McFadden told Sky Sports.

“They have to keep winning, forget what’s happening with Rangers.

“They can hope they drop points of course but they need to make sure they’re winning games.

“They are on the right track and their form is picking up.

“The introduction of Edouard along with Griffiths like last season will prove crucial for them in order to win games.

“David Turnbull has been magnificent since stepping into the side and they are improving.

“It’s all about building towards this big game at the end of the week.”
