McClean was not in court for the case but his solicitor Paddy MacDermott said the defendant pleaded guilty to the charge of driving without insurance.
Mr MacDermott said there could be an issue in relation to the driving without a licence charge and the matter was adjourned until May 1 to have that matter resolved.
