James Martin 'storms off' This Morning set as Phil Schofield calls him 'piece of meat'

This Morning chef James Martin jokingly stormed off the set during Monday's show as hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield labeled him "a bit of meat".

The hilarious moment came as Phil was introducing James' upcoming cooking segment, and he said: "And there's crackling!"

Holly added: "Pork and crackling guys! There's four great big bits of meat over there!"

Phillip then quipped: "One of them is James Martin!"

Holly burst into giggles as the camera then panned to James, who was standing in the kitchen section with his head in his hands, shaking his head.

Phil laughed: "Sorry James, before all of that... He's walking off now!"

The shot then changed to James, who was marching off the set in a mock fury for the cheeky gag.

Holly and Phil also interviewed Coronation Street star Will Mellor, who also had them in stitches when he revealed he accidentally had a strangers' cat put down.

He explained one of his cats, Leo, had gone missing, and then the vet called to say they had him, before discovering he was gravely ill with cancer.

Will had the cat put to sleep - but months later they had another call from the vet, telling them once again they had found Leo.

"I said, 'You haven't, my cat's on my mantlepiece' and he said 'Oh no, we've checked the chip, it's your cat - then we found out that I'd put the wrong cat down, it wasn't my cat.

"I've still got him on the mantlepiece, I don't know who he is!" laughed Will.

He added: 'They said the first cat, the chip had got corrupted and I thought 'Well, it didn't say my address', to which they said, 'Oh, that can happen.'

"And I thought, 'They just wanted someone to put that cat down!'

"Cost me a fortune to get Leo fixed because his back leg was crushed, couldn't put him down because my daughter was like 'He's back from the dead!'"
