James Maddison shows off £6,500 Louis Vuitton rucksack as he scores Leicester's winner vs Tottenham

James Maddison caught the eye in more ways than one during Leicester's 2-1 win over Tottenham as he was pictured with an expensive designer rucksack ahead of the match.

The 22-year-old scored his second goal of the season late on at the King Power Stadium as the Foxes temporarily shot to second place in the Premier League.

But his long-range strike was not the only thing people were talking about after he was spotted with a colourful Louis Vuitton rucksack making his way to the dressing room before the game.

The bag is thought to be worth a staggering £6,500, and it certainly caught the attention of social media, with pundit Dan Walker posting: "Fancy that Maddison rucksack? £6500" with an embarrassed face emoji.

It is not the first time Maddison has drawn attention to himself off the field, with the England international recently pictured with rapper Jay-Z , while he also posted a picture to his social media accounts showing off a new sports car.

He continues to impress on the pitch, however, and his late winner gave the Foxes their third win of the new campaign and strengthened Maddison's chances of becoming a regular in Gareth Southgate's England side.

Speaking about him after the game his manager Brendan Rodgers said: "James Maddison didn't have his best game for him, but he is a top level player. He is a top young player, with so much improvement to make. He always has an eye for goal.

"A brilliant team performance. Very early days, we have had a tough start. We will get into the New Year and see where we are February, March."

Leicester next face a trip to Championship side Luton in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday before hosting Newcastle on Sunday looking to continue their fine form.
