James Jordan levels accusation at Strictly judges over John and Johannes score

Former Strictly Come Dancing pro James Jordan hit out at the judges for their scores for John Whaite and Johannes Radebe's Couple's Choice routine.

James, who went onto win Dancing on Ice after he left Strictly behind, has been very vocal with his opinions on the new series, taking to Twitter during live shows to give his own scores for every dance.

Having been missing in Strictly tweeting action for the last few weeks, due to being on a family holiday and then having a show with wife Ola, James was sat in front of the TV to witness all of Saturday night's crunch semi-final and he had plenty to say on the routines and the marks they received.

Former Bake Off winner John and pro partner Johannes, who have yet to fall into the bottom two, performed a very moving Couple's Choice number to Adele's Hometown Glory.

And, before they took to the dancefloor, viewers at home saw a very moving VT of the popular couple crying after being shown a string of supportive messages from members of the public, some of whom declared them an inspiration and trail blazers for being the first all male couple in Strictly history.

John and Johannes were also very emotional as they ended their dance, for which they earned a near perfect score of 39 out 40.

Only Craig Revel-Horwood failed to give them a 10 and James also didn't think it was worthy of the highest mark, taking to Twitter to reveal he would have given it 8.

Giving his critique on the dance, James wrote: "I’m going to start by saying John is overall the BEST dancer in Strictly but doesn’t mean he should win But…. This was not for me Contemporary dance can be beautiful but the whole balancing on the back and walking in the air doesn’t do it for me

Taking aim at the judges, he then added: "I think the judges marked the VT and not the dance.

James returned to Twitter after John and Johannes' second dance, once again taking exception with the the panel's scores for their Jive.

He tweeted: "Again not for me,not enough traditional jive content and too much side by side. Needed more partnering The kicks & chases were too heavy and didn’t see enough jive bounce action.

"And a couple of stumbles NEVER EVER A 10 in a million years."
