James Holzhauer shuts down Emma Boettcher’s critics after her ‘Jeopardy!’ win

Ever since James Holzhauer lost to Chicago librarian Emma Boettcher to end his 32-game Jeopardy! winning streak, he’s been nothing but classy with his responses to critics on Twitter.

Right off the bat when he lost in June, he congratulated Boettcher by saying “There’s no greater honor than knowing an opponent had to play a perfect game to defeat me” and that he got his “(butt) kicked straight up by an elite player who nailed her own big bets.”

And after Boettcher won her semi-final Tournament of Champions on Monday, setting up what could be a rematch if Holzhauer wins Tuesday night, he had this to say to any critics:

All class. We’ll see if the pair face off with a third champion soon.
