The rugby player might be known for his tough personality on the pitch, but the reaction from James Haskell's campmates to his departure from I'm A Celebrity made him cry uncontrollably.
They were devastated after he became the fourth person to be voted out of I'm A Celebrity on Tuesday. Jacqueline Jossa and Roman Kemp both had to be comforted after breaking down in tears when he left.
Ian Wright said: “James leaving has ripped the heart out of the camp, he’s supported every person in the camp and it’s a devastating blow and he’s left a void that won’t be filled.”
Jacqueline sobbed: “He was definitely one of my favourite people in here, I felt like I had a big brother in here, it was so nice.”
As they waved him off Caitlyn said: “This game sucks.” Roman joked: “Let’s block him on What’s App now!”
Minutes later though Roman was in tears and was comforted by Jacqueline, saying: “He was someone that I spoke to, I feel I don’t have that person now.”
In the BT he continued: “I had a real moment when James left because I realised I’d made a really good friend, it was a happy moment but also a sad one.”
After watching a video of their reactions, James, who had been emotional himself leaving the jungle, said: "The biggest thing in all of this is that my campmates were pleased having me in there and I had an impact on them.
"I used to play a team sport and you got criticised, you have different comments by different people, but as long as your teammates and coaches respected you, that was all that mattered. To watch that this morning, I burst into uncontrollable tears."
Former footballer Ian Wright followed James to become the fifth contestant to leave the jungle on Wednesday night.
