James Haskell fifth star to land Down Under for I'm A Celebrity

James Haskell is the fifth star to fly in Down Under for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The former rugby union player and husband of Richard and Judy's daughter Chloe Madeley was spotted landing at Brisbane Airport this morning.

James, 34, will join Ian Wright, Caitlyn Jenner, Jacqueline Jossa and Andrew Maxwell in the jungle.

But when asked by the Mirror if he was looking forward to the show, he pretended he was simply on holiday.

He played down being on the show, saying: "I don't know what you are talking about, me and my mate here are just going to the gym."

Told he might be entering an extreme situation in the jungle he added: "I am a professional rugby player for 16 years so you don't get more extreme than that do you?"

Asked about the small rations in camp compared to what he normally eats as a fitness ambassador, he said: "I will cross that bridge when I come to it."

Haskell was also asked if he had taken any advice from his famous family.

He said: "Yeah my wife said make sure I sleep on the plane and stay hydrated and I wil' be alright."

Just last month, TV presenter Richard addressed rumours his son-in-law was junglebound.

Speaking on Lorraine, he neither confirmed nor denied that he himself would be on the show, but appeared to hint that while he wasn't doing it this time around he wouldn't rule it out.

Grilled on daughter Chloe's husband James also being rumoured, Richard again remained coy without offering a definitive answer.

Talking about James, he said: "If I did know I wouldn't be able to say.

"The last I heard of it... well I spoke to him yesterday. He's in Japan!"

Lorraine then quizzed whether he could make a detour to Australia for the series, with Richard joking it might be the case.
