James Harrison thinks Kevin Colbert went too far with his Ben Roethlisberger comments

One of the more surprising things to come from Kevin Colbert’s press conference was the way the Pittsburgh Steelers general manager spoke about quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He was unabashed in his support of Roethlisberger, going so far as to imply the other 52 guys on the roster need to listen to Roethlisberger even if he calls them out.

These comments struck a chord with former Steelers’ linebacker James Harrison and he didn’t agree.

Harrison isn’t wrong in one sense. Comparing the rest of the roster to children was definitely crossing the line. We understand why he did it. Colbert had to do damage control for all the nonsense Antonio Brown has been putting out on social media painting Roethlisberger as some sort of villain in this relationship. But he might have gone too far in an attempt to cast a positive light on Big Ben.

But we want to pass the question on to you. Do you think Colbert went too far in trying to defend Roethlisberger? And what do you think his teammates, in particular, the veterans think of it?
