James Harrison teases coming out of retirement to play with Broncos’ Von Miller

Former Steelers outside linebacker James Harrison teased on Instagram Tuesday that he might be coming out of retirement to play with Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller.

“Coming out of retirement to team up with @vonmiller sound good?!” Harrison captioned a photo of him and Miller in Denver’s locker room.

Harrison, 41, retired from the NFL after playing with the Patriots in Super Bowl LII, a 41-33 loss to the Eagles. Before spending part of the 2017 season in New England, Harrison spent the first 14 and a half seasons of his career in Pittsburgh.

Harrison was merely a rotational pass rusher during his final year in the league and it’s unlikely that he’s seriously considering coming out of retirement. He totaled 84.5 sacks during his time in the NFL.
