James Harden ranks 6th in jersey sales; Rockets in top 10 in NBA merchandise sales

The NBA released its list of top jersey and merchandise sales on Thursday, and the Houston Rockets are in the top 10 in team sales during the 2018-19 regular season.

Here’s the entire top 10 list, based on NBAStore.com sales:

  1. Los Angeles Lakers
  2.  Golden State Warriors
  3. Boston Celtics
  4. Philadelphia 76ers
  5. Milwaukee Bucks
  6. Chicago Bulls
  7. Oklahoma City Thunder
  8. Houston Rockets
  9. Toronto Raptors
  10. New York Knicks

James Harden also had the 6th most popular jersey this season, which is no surprise.

Missing the playoffs for the first time in 13 seasons didn’t seem to be a big deal for LeBron James, who was atop the NBA’s jersey sales during his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers. His old team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, fell out of the top 10 this year after sitting No. 2 overall last season.

LeBron at No. 1 followed by Golden State’s Stephen Curry and Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo — who is currently seen as the top challenge to prevent Harden from winning repeating at league MVP.
