James Harden ‘probable’ to play Monday night against Mavericks

Rockets guard James Harden will be listed as ‘probable’ to play on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks, per head coach Mike D’Antoni.

Harden hurt his shoulder Saturday night against the Mavericks and even had it wrapped in ice after the game. When asked about it after the game, Harden shrugged it off.

“I just got caught up with (Steven) Adams. He’s a pretty strong guy,” said James Harden. “I’m not going to make excuses (for the loss). They played well.”

Harden has played in 52 of 55 games this season and has rarely missed games throughout his career. It’s likely he’ll play through any lingering shoulder soreness he has Monday night against the Mavericks.
