James Harden posts a quiet 12 points in NBA All-Star Game

In a star-studded game, rife with explosive performances, Houston Rockets guard James Harden posted a quiet 12-point total, the lowest among team LeBron starters. Although a far cry from what we see from him in games that matter, this was to be expected.

Harden attempted just 13 shots, all threes, welcoming a more team-oriented approach. The All-Star Game served as a respite from regular season play, where he is needed to carry the offense every night. He is also recovering from a left shoulder strain that requires a some rest before the season kicks back into gear.

His game, however, was not devoid of highlights.

Team LeBron won the game 178-164, led by Harden’s former teammate Kevin Durant.
