James Harden outscores the entire Spurs team

Scoring machine James Harden dropped 27 points in the 1st quarter against the San Antonio Spurs.

Turns out that those 27 were more than the WHOLE Spurs team scored in the period.

The first quarter ended with the Houston Rockets leading the Spurs 36-24 at home.

Harden’s 27 points in the 1st quarter marked the second-most in a single quarter in franchise history — Vernon Maxwell scored 30 points in the 4th quarter vs. Cleveland on 1/26/91.

Harden has now scored 20 or more points in a single quarter six times this season.

I mean, HELLO BACK-TO-BACK MVP?!?

Fingers crossed that red-hot-Harden will give Houston the win over the Spurs.
