James Harden makes All-NBA First Team

James Harden, the league’s leading scorer for the 2018-19 regular season, was named to the All-NBA First Team on Thursday.

The reigning MVP got all 100 votes to make the First Team, and each vote is worth five points.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo also received 500 points.

The other guard who made the First Team was Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, who had 482 points (91 votes for First Team, nine votes for Second Team).

Rounding out the All-NBA First Team are Oklahoma City Thunder’s Paul George and Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokić.

Harden has been selected to five All-NBA First Teams and one All-NBA Second Team throughout his career. This is his third unanimous selection in a row.

Harden, Antetokounmpo and George are also the three finalists for the 2018-19 Kia NBA Most Valuable Player Award, which will be announced on June 24 at 9 p.m. ET on TNT.

Only Antetokounmpo’s team is still in the NBA playoffs.
