James Harden knows what Rockets must do to improve next season

The Houston Rockets suffered another postseason series loss at the hands of the Golden State Warriors, this time in the Western Conference Semifinals after the 118-113 finish in Game 6.

This is now the fourth time the Rockets have been knocked off by the Warriors since the 2015 NBA Playoffs. Golden State also knocked off the Rockets twice in the Western Conference Semifinals (’15 and ’18) and in the first round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs.

Suffice it to say, the Warriors have been a bit too much for Houston to handle each time.

This time, the Warriors managed to knock off the Rockets without Kevin Durant, who was absent from Game 6 after straining his right calf in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

With this being a recurring theme for the Rockets, the question remains: “What needs to be done to get past the Warriors?”

James Harden spoke about it briefly with reporters in Houston after the loss:

I know what we need to do. I know exactly what we need to do. Just . . . we’ll figure it out this summer.

Houston’s superstar wouldn’t get into details but seemed confident he and his teammates can get past the roadblock that is the Golden State Warriors.
