James Goddard, yellow vest abuser of Anna Soubry, has Facebook and Paypal accounts deleted

A yellow vest protester who called Tory MP Anna Soubry a "Nazi" outside parliament and online this week has had his online accounts with Facebook and Paypal deleted.

Ms Soubry was on Monday called a “Nazi” and a “liar” by Brexiteer protesters and was later followed along the street being called a “fascist,” by Mr Goddard and other Brexiteer protesters.

In Facebook posts on Tuesday Mr Goddard repeated his assertions, writing: “She’s called a Nazi because she’s acting like one."

"If the political class weren't trying to thwart Brexit, then I wouldn't have to approach these treacherous MPs.

"Has anyone noticed how they bang on about equal rights for women, yet when they're approached they go into meltdown!"

Hours later, Mr Goddard wrote on his Twitter account, which is still active, that Facebook had “silenced him,” and that he took great offence at being called “far right and a fascist.”

A Facebook spokesman said: "We have removed James Goddard's Facebook pages and groups for violating our policies on hate speech.

"We will not tolerate hate speech on Facebook which creates an environment of intimidation and which may provoke real-world violence."

Mr Goddard was photographed with Ukip leader Gerard Batten at a demonstration last year, it emerged today.

In recent months, Mr Goddard has been following in the footsteps of far-Right activist and campaigner Tommy Robinson by using social media to stage political stunts and appeal for donations via PayPal.

Videos on social media show he has previously taken the stage at one of Mr Robinson’s rallies in London, where he told the crowd: “This is a message for the Establishment, this is a message for the Left. We are coming for you.”

In another video he said: “We voted for Brexit because we wanted to retake control of our country… this is our land and we’re taking it back. If the political class don’t like it and they are going to see a revolution like they have never seen before.”

He first hit the headlines in December after blocking traffic, including ambulances, on Westminster Bridge with a small group of protesters wearing high-vis jackets.

His group of yellow-vested protesters have been a regular feature around Westminster since early December, echoing similar protests in Paris.
