James Garner agent names three teams interested in transfer after talks with Manchester United

The agent of James Garner has revealed he spoke with Manchester United's recently appointed Football Director, John Murtough, to discuss the youngster's future at the club.

Garner, 20, has shone on loan at Championship club Nottingham Forest having seen his previous loan move with Watford cut short during the January transfer window.

The English midfielder wanted to stay and fight for his place at Vicarage Road but listened to advice from his agent, Steven Beck, by taking a risk on another loan move to Forest.

It's a gamble which has truly paid off, with Garner now a key player in Chris Hughton's side and set to have an opportunity to prove his worth to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in pre-season this summer.

His agent believes Garner has what it takes to become a first-team player for United next season and has revealed talks have already been held with the club over his future role.

“Third loan? – I honestly don’t know,” Beck told Stretty News. “I had a couple of chats with John Murtough last week, but I’m so relaxed on the situation, as is James because things are going so well for him.

"James has put himself in a great position where he’s probably going to have, if he does go out on loan again, the majority of the Championship and I would be amazed if one or two Premier League clubs don’t try and do something.

“I know Brighton like him, I know Norwich like him. I know Rangers are really keen on him as well.”
