James Forrest has won a treble of his own before the Scottish Cup Final has even kicked off.

Forrest has expressed his appreciation for this latest gong having also collected the PFA Scotland and the Scottish Football Writers’ Association prizes.

The 27-year-old winger, who has scored 22 goals for club and country, said: “I’m really grateful to have won this award and it’s indication of what a great season we have had as a ream.

“Last season was my best season in terms of stats, but I have kicked on again this season and I have had the added aspect of the international scene and doing well for Scotland.

“We know it will be tough against Hearts on Saturday but we are so determined to finish the season with all three trophies again.”

David Macdonald of Ladbrokes said: "James Forrest has been remarkable for Celtic this season and we wish him and his team mates the best of luck ahead of the Scottish Cup Final."
