James Forrest has suffered yet another injury setback to extend Celtic 's growing injury list of woes.
The flying winger's career has been seriously hampered by hamstring injuries, with the 30-year-old only recently returning from another knock he picked up in August.
With the Hoops desperately short of forwards, he started Sunday afternoon's clash with Motherwell but was forced to hobble off after just 18 minutes.
As well as a huge blow personally, his absence could cause even more problems for Ange Postecoglou 's side ahead of their Premier Sports Cup final against Hibs next Sunday.
They could find themselves desperately short of several forward options once again, with Jota, Kyogo Furuhashi and Albian Ajeti all currently sidelined and facing a race against time to be fit for this season's first shot at silverware.
Forrest will be hoping his latest knock isn't too serious, having missed so many months of action with Celtic already in the last few seasons.
